Interactive calculation for Chromiting

For calculating the heat requirement in a new or modified plant, values can be entered here to determine the different effects.
Quantity and frequency, the volume, material of the frame (steel if frame, PP or PE if drum), the temperature in the factory building and the temperature of the water have to be entered.
You can change the working temperature and the tolerated chrome value of the last rinse level (we have tested without any faults up to 1 g/l).
The result is the heat requirement in kW as well as the self-adjusting temperatures and concentrations in the system.

Checklist Chromiting (PDF-File, 60 KB)

The Checklist Chromiting summarizes the most important aspects which influence the quality of the passivation layer. Here, the optimal conditions and mistakes are discussed.

Two frequently asked questions: Where are the Black spots in the Salt Spray Test from? Is this already corrosion? - This is our answer.
